With the initial hope of obtaining corporate sponsorship and being unable to solidify such an arrangement in the timeframe, Abby was adament that the concert proceed, even if it meant incurring a large personal debt.
An online fundraising campaign has been launched to allow any people or organizations to contribute whatever they can, should they choose, to help Abby recoup the expenses of running the event and to allow all involved to be paid something closer to what they so very much deserve.
Regardless of the outcome of the fundraising venture, all crew and musicians have commited thier time and efforts (for free, in all cases where possible and if necessary) and very much enjoyed putting on a magical event for the people of Brisbane.
